Actually I went long. I went long at 15:56:06 and sold at 15:59:09. Not really sure why I did that? Had a profit and took it. Thank God I did! While it might not last until tomorrow, Futures are looking ugly.
If you change from investing to trading, you would have written it differently ___________________________________ Until about 11:30 AM the markets were hitting on All 6 up. After that, stock after stock started their declines. The 3-4 PM period was the best in terms of price movement. When I was watching the market I thought at first that Russia had started to invade the Ukraine - not. Something major is happening and I am clueless. Most market makers don't mind a moderate decline but we are exceeding that now. My only thought, grasping for straws, is that Netflix earnings leaked. After hours looks promising.
There is something going on here more than the Fed. Everyone knows that in the future the FED will try to increase interest rates. They usually go .25% at a time. Not a really big deal. Prior recent moves are related to something as of yet unknown. As I stated earlier. I thought Russia went to war with the Ukraine. The only thing I have been able to come up with is the decline in Netflix. But it is something more than that.
I trade. I would appreciate a more detailed explanation of what your comment meant. Something started around 11:30 and hit its stride around 3. I do not understand your comment. Any clues would be appreciated.
I correctly anticipated the 11am reversal based on: - it was reaching prior day's high - timing: strong morning trends often do midday reversals I aggressively traded mostly SPXU all afternoon, did 80+ RTs today, which is typical for a busy day for me
Cathy Woods said yesterday that there is a stock market bubble, but the bubble is in value stocks not in tech. Now I have heard everything possible. https://seekingalpha.com/news/37893...ld-be-building-in-such-so-called-value-stocks

Yeah my feeling exactly. All of the indexes started declining at 11:00 AM. There is no news, no announcement, no statistics numbers, no nothing, just earnings. Peleton had an earning miss but it's not big enough to cause such a huge drop. Netflix earnings, good or bad, shouldn't affect the indexes that much either. Something is up...
Basically, repeat of yesterday on the S&P with more downward pressure. Took puts on the reversal both times but panic sold early grr..... W.e happens tomm will be different.
