ElectricSavant ---------------------- By the way leaving forums specially over long time is just natural, people move on or find another way to communicate. Or die...
He s posted here with several handles, at least one after Atticus, which might have been banned. Not sure wether he is active anymore.
I enjoyed the lack of thoughtfulness, combined with total correctness. Also "Farmer" over on Wilmot, with more humour. Different person, similar style.
%% One elite trader noted===== i ignore noise unless its my wife.LOL a fund in the Bloomberg news takes the other side, like$ noise + one of the manager has a large collection of machine guns.
People get burnt out, or get sick of losing money, and they move on in life. I've seen it numerous times.... it's hard to move on from trading. When someone has been emotionally invested in trading and needs to quit, the only way forward is to go cold turkey. Hence why so many once-active posters disappear never to be heard from again. I remember when I first found this place it was crawling with people who said they made a living trading futures intraday. Now a few years later they're all gone. Same thing on BMT. It's the nature of the business.
Yep, I reckon if one were really raking in the dollars they would actually have a life and it wouldn't be on ET. But funny how life is; once a scrooge always a scrooge, that is you can hit the big time with success but your roots are still with battling it out, saving, scrooging, fighting and chatting on ET.
