My observation is that it isn't just the sports world. The whole world seems to have shifted to where everyone's behavior is constantly on trial. OOOo he smokes! Ooo look at how she dresses! Let's scour everyones closets and see if they had any skeletons. Put 'em on prozac so they will be "normal". We are being sandwiched between "political correctness" and "religious right theocracy". Man I miss the 70's. I blame it on doctors who have become stingy with valiums. Everyone needs to lighten up and just live, quit second guessing everyone about everything. Quit trying to live other peoples lives and expecting them to conform to what "we" think they should do. I am just glad I didnt grow up in this boring as hell decade. I actually had FUN!
for me its not what takes place in their private lives I find intersting, its their antics in the playing arena.
