First notice is tomorrow. Specs need to roll long positions?I'm not an expert.

  3. not to correct you but there is no first notice in sugar, it is expiration today. it is super thin and therefore mix that with people needing to get stuff done and out of position, it's going to have wild moves. This happens a lot with spreads about to expire, makes for some fun trading.

  4. ok, yeah, I meant before the futures expire like cotton and coffee, but you are right.

regardless that is the reason its so crazy

  5. Sugar producing countries are more preoccupied with the Soccer World Cup and forgot to cover short positions before the July expiration. :(
