  1. Hello

    Hello

    1. I obviously support the free market, the government hasnt done anything in the last 20 years but further contribute to the mess. The thing is that if i thought the government had any sense of personal responsiblity, then maybe i could support keynes. The fact of the matter is that no one wants to slow down an economy in good times, like the late 90's so we are left with a permanent cluster fuck.

No one wanted to substantially raise taxes, in the late 90's, greenspan dropped interest rates in the 90's as well. If the government was in anyway responsible they would have upped income taxes significantly as well as interest rates in the late 90's, and they would have saved the money in preperation for a collapse, and in preperation for inevitably having to drop income tax rates when times got tough.

The fact of the matter is that once the government gets their hands on money, they send it back out the door. There is no such thing as planning for the future when the government is involved. It is a permanent revolving door, whereby the person willing to spend the most today gets rewarded. That is the quintessential problem with government intervention in economic issues, and this is why i dont support government. Everyone wants to be popular, I get it, but in the free market if you choose popularity over running your business properly, you dont stick around for very long, you go out of business very quickly when you start making popular decisions which are bad for business, in the government you just keep going and going and going, until you bankrupt the nation.

    2. Probably not, but thats what we need, and thats why Obama has to go, if he doesnt want to support legitimate reform then he is nothing more than an obstacle at this point.

    5. Now you seem to be back into the idea that the tea party is somehow overrun by racists, which is what i disagreed with to begin with. Infact you yourself made the statement you do not believe the tea party is racist so im wondering what made you change your mind so drasticallly in recent days.

  2. Well, since you have sunk to personal attacks in the absence of an actual argument, I just wanted to let you know that I'm anxiously awaiting your explanation of what makes me racist, besides the fact that I oppose racial discrimination of course. :D

  3. 5. I am concerned based on my monitoring of conservative news media. Rush, Beck, Hannity, Drudge, et. al. I do not think the Tea Party is racist, the are the original party of Lincoln now. But I am concerned that elements within them will scuttle them like they have damaged Ron Paul. Every time Paul gets some traction, someone trots out an article from the CCC or Stormfront, or VDare. Now, they did this to Obama too with Rev. Wright. But America has immense guilt about it's past. It bugs me. I work in an all white town and they are always monitoring what they say to me. Especially about race. They always turn red. It's not fair to them. I said all that to say that Obama prolly should have bit it behind Rev. Wright. But he didn't. Ron Paul has to overcome Stormfront, which he has never even contributed to. It is a clear double standard, and my true candidate will not get off the ground because of it. It is frustrating. Especially because America has done all she can do to say she is sorry. A black is the President, on top of all else over the years, as nation, she can do no more. Now, individuals, that is a different matter entirely. A lot of racists still walk the earth, but it aint because of America, it is prolly because their house had lead paint in it:D

  4. Haha, that's funny. One of my black buddies always tells me that: that you can always tell if a Caucasian is lying, embarrassed, or distressed because they turn red, but that other Caucasians seem not to notice it.

I disagree though, that Paul must "overcome" storm front or whatever. Rather, I think that people should accept that those people have rights to their view and convictions too. Just the way that religious people do. Also, people should see the propaganda for what it is. Just because there are muslims in the republican party doesn't make it a "muslim party". Just because there are some asians in the democratic party doesn't make it an "asian party". Likewise, if there are some racists in the tea party that doesn't make it a "racist party".

I would go a step further and say that NOI, the NAACP and similar should back the tea party because it defends THEIR right to be racists, if that's what they so choose. But the current regime already approves THEIR racism, so they wouldn't have anything to gain.
