No, Jack Litle, the owner of Mercenary Trader, traded afaik. Like most traders, his results were probably disappointing. He had a falling out with his employees. Afaik he's the only one left.

I used to subscribe to his newsletter SIR I think it was called. I un subscribed when he started ranting his anti brexit and anti trump feelings. I'm interested in making money dude not in rants.

I think you are right. So hard to believe people can be so knowledgeable and insightful about the business and not be able to trade. I always thought they would come out with a book after hitting an exceptonally good year. The book would be awesome, imo. Can't trust no one in this business unless you see it with your own eyes, and even then have to make sure it's a sustainable edge with acceptable risk/reward.

They definitely called trades and position sized them properly. They didn't do badly the year I subscribed (don't remember actual numbers, I wasn't really there to shadow them). Lack of focus just turned me off. I remember they wanted to buy office building in Las Vegas and soliciting subscribers to invest. I was like - you guys are big time traders and looking for retail guys to invest in real estate for your office? That was the straw :)

Haha, yes i recall the Vegas property thing...they just wanted an investor to buy something which they could rent as office space.

I actually met up and had dinner with Jack Litle 4 years ago in Las Vegas. V smart guy imho...oh well.
