Here is something weird. So I was trading a bunch of new york stock right near the open. and all my orders for the stocks were routed to ARCA. ALL of em' to ARCA. Normally they all go to NYSE
it's reg NMS...it routes to the best bid or offer. if you want a new york order to only route to the new york book then you have to send it as a do not ship order.
