Sorry, no false equivalency here. Respect is earned, and those who refuse to be rational and aren't open to changing their beliefs based on evidence don't deserve any more respect than those who believe the earth is flat. I am interested in you as a study of psychology, and feel a little bit sorry for you because it sucks to live life paranoid, but you haven't earned any respect. Again, thanks for being so predictable though.

  2. whatever, Trying to convince 14 terrorists to give up their life so you can make a killing in the options market doesn't seem like a good long term business plan to me

otherwise, Gold went up but everything else was pretty orderly, and many were there waiting to buy the dip when it reopened and they all came out pretty well.

Betting on Black Swan is like betting on Shady Lady at 30 to 1. And insuring against a 30 to 1 long shot gets expensive.

It's the dream of a loser. "If I ever finally figured out a sure way to make money in the market how would I protect myself from Black Swan?"

Unfortunately, you most likely will never be faced with that problem.

IMO ......Only the pilots new the whole plan. The other terrorists probably were told it was a hijacking and the plane was to be landed somewhere.

  4. Like the man said, "Somewhere there was probably a Woman involved." A Terrrorist is just a frustrated man who can't make a woman happy. It use to be the French Foreign Legion where all broken hearted men went to lick their wounds. Now it is ISIS.

At this time I'm busy with other stuff, so I don't have the time to discuss with you 9/11. Maybe another time.
I would suggest you do a reality check of your opinion on 9/11, just research it from independent sources.
The govt sources you can't trust, nowadays every child knows that.

  6. I would suggest you suspend all "other stuff" if it involves money if you are still baffled by 9/11. I haven't invested since 1987 since I'm pretty sure the Government was involved in the Crash.

  8. yes, they told me either go right or left. If you are in the middle of the road you will get run over. But, you know, I am a spread trader so those rules don't apply to me.

I understand, neither a liberal nor a conservative, just a normalo, and a typical daytrader like many of us.

  10. what's special about a day? Why not a week trader? Or a month trader? Or a year trader? Or a decade trader? Or in my case, a lifetime trader?

It helps if you have a reasonable estimate of how long you will live. At least then you know what you have to work with. Young men think in points. Middle age men think in percentage. Old men think in years.
