BTW, Timothy Ferris wrote a wonderful book for amateur astronomers: Seeing in the Dark : How Amateur Astronomers Are Discovering the Wonders of the Universe (Paperback) http://www.amazon.com/Seeing-Dark-A...=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1259634039&sr=8-4 It is one on my reading list.
I know this will be a big hit. To dress like James Bond: http://www.jamesbondlifestyle.com/ Other than a bow tie which I would never wear except to a very formal outing in a tux, I love the way the British dress formally. So, to drop $100,000 on custom made clothes in England.
Bond got good style. I think shoes from Allen Edmonds would go well with his tux. Unfortunately, they're gonna get ruined when Bond tries to run around in them.
To witness my first total solar eclipse: http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/eclipse.html Even people (scientists) that are not drawn to hyperbole and are mostly passive types, have described the event as, breathtaking, terrifying, oh my God, etc etc. It is probably the only thing that everyone should do before leaving this planet, and preferably with their kids.
I don't see it either, but I guess you don't need a fireplace if you live in a condo. It's just gonna be very difficult for Santa to come down the chimney. BTW: I really like the entrance from the elevators. I wonder how it work from a security perspective.
To be able to roast marshmallows, to cozy up to a live fire, for the smell of it, for the sound of the crackling wood... Yeah, I don't know about the elevator. In "Casino Royale", "M" has a place where the elevator opens right into her condo.
