Think about it, China is a country that's friends with the Taliban, the terrorist that harboured Osama Bin Laden, that raped and killed women who were fully clothed literally from head to toe, just murdered a comedian in broad daylight because he made comedy sketches about them. And yet China is friends with them. This just shows you what kind of country China is, openly allying with a known terrorist group. So you are pouring money still into China, you are really openly supporting the Taliban.

I dunno what Blackrock, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan are thinking. I don't even know whether they are going to get their money back like this guy in Russia:

You do realize they were our friends when they were fighting Russia, right?

Yeah, it's great that in China there's no debate or consideration when putting up a factory. Then pollute the area and make it completely inhabitable as is the Chinese tradition, the executives will go and live in Europe/US and leave the mess behind. "Locusts" is such an apt description.

I assume when you were talking about the "Americans needed them when fighting against the Soviets", you were referring to the Afghan-Soviet war back that started in 1979 and ended in 1991? The Americans backed the Mujahideens in the Afghan-Soviet war. The Talibans today were the Mujahideens and did not exist at that time. They did not emerge out of the Mujahideens and became their own and called themselves "The Talibans" until 1994. So the Americans never covertly needed or backed the Talibans in any shape or form at any time. You need to stop mixing things up spread false lies. If you don't know something, then at least spend the effort to learn about it before you troll. That's what your brain is for.

One only needs to read what you wrote to make the connection between the Mujahideen and the Taliban or any other Islamist group wanting Sharia to define rule of law and government. They can call themselves what they want but their ultimate goal is absolute power.
When our interests need them we call them freedom fighters or whatever sounds good. When they hinder our interests, they're terrorists. We've been doing this for 100 years, from the bad colonial powers, the evil empire, the communist threat or the Islamic terrorists. We package our interests in Christian values of good vs evil that we feed our good natured and gullible population and encourage our youth to go die somewhere with God on our side. But let's make no mistake, it's always about advancing our interests, opening new markets for our businesses, maintain military superiority and influence the world to our way of life.

Well when they harboured a group that drove two planes directly into our two civilian buildings as well to the Pentagon, yeah, I would say they "hindered our interests". LOL I don't think your boss China would tolerate it either if one day the Taliban decided to bomb some government buildings in Beijing or some stock exchange buildings in Shanghai. In fact China would be even more ruthless in retaliation if this would happen judging from how China is retaliating against the West for the West just wanting to balance the trade a bit.
