What firms have the cheapest commissions for day trading?

I'm an experienced trader (new to ET) who has a sound methodology, but my commissions are killing me. I'm paying .004/share plus the ECN fees of taking liquidity of .003/share. I.e. it costs me $14 for one round turn trade of 1000 shares.

Is it true that Chimera charges .001/share?

Are there any firms that are less expensive than that?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Any and all Canadian firms.

    The standard being 0.20 / 1000 shares, or 0.0002.

Can I trade with a Canadian firm if I'm an American?

What about trading with them and trading remotely from the U.S.?

Can you give me the names of a couple good Canadian Firms that would change $0.20/1,000 shares.

Is this net, or you get a liquidity credit/debit, if you add/remove.

Any idea wy Canadian firms can be so much less expensive.
