Linda Raschke’s I found solid. Think Ernest Chan was on there or maybe it was better systems trader. Same for Kevin Davey, Perry Kaufman, think they did chat with traders but maybe the other podcast.
There is ultimately a fundamental flaw with the concept of a trading podcast IMO that limits how "good" it can be to start with. I have heard Raschke go on everything of this type for the last 20 years. Ernie Chan is basically a quantitative version of Raschke. At some point you know what the type of person that goes on these things are going to say without listening. Their big edge is in risk management or it is all because of superior trader psychology and reading order flow..I am sure Ernie Chan talks about machine learning without actually giving much of substance.
The quality tho, Schwager can't afford microphone ! (just a joke) Hmnnn, i like the overall variety, when it comes to the peoples background stories. Or funny stories, when people reflect back on their noobs days. One guy : ,,I saw that stock moves from $0.05 to $0.1, every few days. Thought, man it's some easy way to double my money ! So went all in with $10 000. Next thing you know, - can't get out with limit order. Called my broker - and theres 7 people in line, prior to me. Got out with 5 grand" ... ;D Specific episode ? Can't recall exactly, but man was net red for 10 years, and he - never - gave - up. Isn't that what Freedom of speech is. Sorry if i got it wrong. Hmnn that happens across multiple hierarchies, people share their opinions/expierences, despite their skill levels. One can always close that youtube window. That's a good one & funny too. Somewhere he says, something like : ,, Sometimes, at the same time, i have so many positions, that i don't what f*** is happening in that screen" ;D ,,Im not even looking at my P/L, only once at the end of the year, after my broker hands me a paper"
I don't know what freedom of speech has to do with anything here. I mean the flaw is there is just no reason for someone to give away the secret sauce on a podcast unless their secret sauce is in getting you to buy a secret sauce.
Agreed. Got it from the wrong perspective. Some ressist, but eventually do, some sound like they give it away freely(with little of specific detail), some speak arround in circles ending up with bs, and some even get angry on Aron for asking. (maybe the question wasn't ,,preplaned" prior to interview, and author tried his luck)
