What does your day trade station entail?

I dont like Apple products. The only Apple I've ever owned was a 3rd generation desktop in the 80s, an Apple IIe, which I liked well enough. What I dislike about them is their need to monopolize their entire digital ecosystem when it comes to control. If Apple doesn't like a 3rd party they give them the boot.

Yes my tv screens are mounted that way as well as my refrigerator turned in landscape mode. Personal preference.

The frig makes sense. Side to side decisions, decisions. No more late night neck strain in the glow of the frig light.

    :)

I've had a TradeStation account 20+ years and have gone from a single 12" CRT box (lol) to a trio of curved 38" flatscreens + 2 other 30" for online/misc. To each their own.

LOL, I started with chartbook and telephone, then CRT's in the 1980's, then 12 23 inch CRT's, 3 desktops, had to have electrician come in to put in exhaust fans as heat increased 30 degrees. While now most is automated, I use Dell 17" laptops from Walmart, only use one when I trade elsewhere, own hotspot, Speedy Trading Servers into CME/exchanges/brokers.

It is funny, when I traded so-so well, thought I needed the newest of everything, at some point P/C size less important, server to exchanges in blocks/few miles makes more sense to me.

    This.

The fastest computer on Earth is meaningless if there are a hundred servers right there on Wall Street getting their orders in ahead of yours.

Fast is important to get things done. Not so much, as least not as much as most think, for execution.

  7. Compared to Speedy Trading Servers, we have similar <1ms latency but offer a much stronger server at half the cost. The biggest difference is the CPU and RAM. For example, Speedy Trading Servers uses Intel Xeon E5 2678v3 and E5 2690 CPUs. Our servers only use new AMD Ryzen 5900x or higher. The difference in CPU means that a single one of our CPU cores is equivalent to multiple Intel Xeon CPUs. This means that you can run more charts, more indicators, more automated strategies at the same time, and charts don't freeze up especially around market open.

For comparison, here are the benchmark scores comparing the CPUs:

    AMD Ryzen 5900x: https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=AMD+Ryzen+9+5900X&id=3870

    Intel Xeon E5 2690: https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Xeon+E5-2690+@+2.90GHz&id=1223

    Intel Xeon E5 2678v3: https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Xeon+E5-2678+v3+@+2.50GHz&id=2584

Assuming you're using CQG/Continuum or Rithmic you'll be less than 1 ms away with our VPS.

We also have a discount for Elite Trader forum members. Anyone switching from Speedy to our Medium VPS will receive an additional 40% discount! Email support@ninjamobiletrader.com to receive the discount.

The discount is applied on top of these prices:
