"Under the gun is a fair look at both sides of the national debate" ROFLMAO...oh yeah, sure. Well, if that's so, the preview certainly isn't. Add some dramatic music and a little theatrics, quote a stupid federal government policy (terror watch list - my mom was on this list incidentally, and had done nothing and it was a pain in the ass every time she had to fly) not once, but twice and viola! Instant gun agenda clip.
No gun needed. Knives will do. Everything that's wrong with the inner city can be summed up with this story. Mom out banging with her 13 year old daughter, gives the kid the knife to do the dirty deed. http://wgntv.com/2016/05/17/juvenile-charged-in-stabbing-death-of-15-year-old-girl/
This woman should take their daughters and get away from this guy ASAP. Violence begets violence. If you live by the sword, you better be prepared to die by the sword. I have no qualms about his life. The life of an innocent four year old is unspeakable. Patriots at the gate: The Americans preparing for battle against their own government REDMOND, Ore. —BJ Soper took aim with his AR-15 semiautomatic rifle and fired a dozen shots at a human silhouette target. Soper’s wife and their 16-year-old daughter practiced drawing pistols. Then Soper helped his 4-year-old daughter, in pink sneakers and a ponytail, work on her marksmanship with a .22-caliber rifle. Deep in the heart of a vast U.S. military training ground, surrounded by spent shotgun shells and juniper trees blasted to shreds, the Central Oregon Constitutional Guard was conducting its weekly firearms training. “The intent is to be able to work together and defend ourselves if we need to,” said Soper, 40, a building contractor who is an emerging leader in a growing national movement rooted in distrust of the federal government, one that increasingly finds itself in armed conflicts with authorities. Those in the movement call themselves patriots, demanding that the federal government adhere to the Constitution and stop what they see as systematic abuse of land rights, gun rights, freedom of speech and other liberties... http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/pa...st-their-own-government/ar-BBtjEqX?li=BBnb7Kz
Lies, Incorporated: The World of Post-Truth Politics Paperback – April 19, 2016 by Ari Rabin-Havt Media Matters for America (Author) "In today’s post-truth political landscape, there is a carefully concealed but ever-growing industry of organized misinformation that exists to create and disseminate lies in the service of political agendas. Ari Rabin-Havt and Media Matters for America present a revelatory history of this industry—which they've dubbed Lies, Incorporated—and show how it has crippled legislative progress on issues including tobacco regulation, public health care, climate change, gun control, immigration, abortion, and same-sex marriage. Eye-opening and indispensable, Lies, Incorporated takes an unflinching look at the powerful network of politicians and special interest groups that have launched coordinated assaults on the truth to shape American politics."

No agenda here. Katie Couric Documentary Accused of Deceptively Editing Gun Activists’ Remarks A gun rights organization has accused veteran journalist Katie Couric of deceptively editing interview footage to make them look like idiots, and they have the audio to prove it. Couric is the narrator and executive producer of the documentaryUnder the Gun. In the film, Couric interviews the Virginia Citizens Defense League about their views on gun control. She appears to stump them, asking a question no one can answer, prompting them to hang their heads low. “Let me ask you another question,” Couric says. “If there are no background checks for gun purchasers, how do you prevent felons or terrorists from purchasing a gun?” Their response? Several seconds of silence. But the group released audio they had recorded of the interview to the pro-gun website Ammoland, which proves that they did answer the question immediately. “If you’re a felon and you’ve done your time, you should have your rights,” one of the Virginians responded. “Well the fact is, you do have statutes both at the federal and state level that prohibit classes of people from being in possession of firearms…” another man responds. “What we’re really asking about is a question of prior restraint, how can we prevent future crime by identifying bad guys before they do anything bad. And the simple answer is, you can’t.” http://www.mediaite.com/tv/katie-co...emarks/#ooid=t4djlxMzE6pBDRQM6nT768q-M2vmbR0P Watch above, via Under the Gun. http://www.mediaite.com/tv/katie-couric-documentary-deceptively-edits-gun-activists-remarks/
