I feel like the kid waiting for to unwrap the christmas gift that is just staring at you counting the days.
  6. word op ex sucks because friday was the first you are getting ripped on a week of premium, you gotta have feb calls on aapl and goog, MM's rolling in it. :)
  7. INTC I just put a large call backspread betting on good earning, hopefully.
  8. a) You possibly waste your time trying to explain "why" certain stocks went down.

    b) If MU and JDSU are weak on unrelated earnings news, how bad will they do if the tech/semi sector gets downgraded outright or sector earnings reports come in weak?

Alcoa is a multi-sector hub of industrial activity.

Consumer demand, pulls industrial demand, which pulls raw material demand (Alcoa).

When Alcoa took a loss, broader consumption was deemed weak, which downgraded expectations for tech stocks that rely on healthy consumption.
  10. The price is always right and the markets are generally stupid
