  2. S-Trader

This may be off on a tangent from where the OP's focus was... but the tools of the trade will probably be very cool. Holographic or volumetric displays and augmented reality will replace these clunky monitors, keyboards and mouses (a la Tom Cruise in "Minority Report"). Imagine all the indicators and specialized platforms that will arise from 3D charts -- thousands of new "Holy Grails," lol! So at least trading will be a lot more mobile and comfortable. We won't be chained to our trading stations. If I'm still around, I'll probably fall asleep way too often trying to trade from the sofa or my bed... or get too distracted trading from the beach.

Trader interactions will also be way more advanced. I assume the interfaces will be a lot more advanced than the current chat rooms or collaboration hubs like Slack. But I don't have a good feel as to where trends are headed, or what the end results will look like.

And I imagine developing simple algos, running (simple) stats and backtesting, etc. will all become much easier for non- or novice coders like me with the help of AI, user-friendly codes, etc.

(I'm not a true techie, so please view my thoughts in that context -- really don't know proper terminology, what current & future technology are out there, etc. Would welcome anyone's feedback/input.)
