PA is a holy grail of predicting rapid movement. For example, an engulfing candle in the opposite direction of trend after a waterfall event. Silver pin candles can also indicator trend change but don't predict rapid movement unless the tail is long and unbreakable.
Thanks - I wish I was anywhere near that sharp... I'm still in the junior leagues, but bucking my way up; struggling and learning every day. But I suppose it's like dressing for the job you want instead of the one you have - I'm grateful for what I've received here, from destriero and a number of others, and I'm a strong believer in paying it forward. Good to know that dest is back. He may be irascible with those who refuse to get a clue, he might piss off those who demand that valuable knowledge must come wrapped in a gooey layer of "niceness", he might not suffer fools gladly... but by damn the man is smart as a whip and knows his business; something that 99%+ of those who claim to, don't. That deserves a hell of a lot of respect. He's been kind enough to help me with some of my struggles, and I'm always glad to see content from him.
