I would like to know what do traders here think about this new forex broker.
They let you start trading with as low as 5$ but i think they are not regulated by NFA.
    Any feedback?

  2. Correct, they are not a member of the NFA. Furthermore, they are not registered with the CFTC. They claim to be registered with the (Swiss) FSC... yeah, good to know. The $5 minimum ought to be viewed as a red flag, not a selling point.

According to one poster, their business address appears to be nothing but a mail drop in Lausanne, Switzerland. I would not even consider them -- or anyone else who is an unknown quantity -- when choosing a forex dealer to do business with. There are far better, safer choices.

Probably BVI or "Commonwealth of Dominica" or something like that.

Marketiva implement zero-interest policy right now which means no overnight interest charged/paid. I like to trade with them, they're good forex dealer. :)

Do you know 4th largest bankruptcy in the US history?

I don't blame marketiva at all knowing what kind of mess US goverment did with SEC and other regulatory bodies. The problem is they make such an overhead for startup companies that no one can really get into the market. On the other hand the biggest crooks like Refco (4th largest bankruptcy in the US history) are doing whatever they like.

  8. Things never change.

Late in the evening/early in the morning, the forex scammers crawl out of the woodwork like cockroaches :D

Has anyone noticed that these people always have the same opinion ("these guys are great,.....I love them......blah, blah, blah). Then you take a closer look and they are complete crap.

I think anyone who falls for this sort of deserves what they get.

Once again, and for the record. In my opinion, they suck.

I am not a spammer and neither have I crawled late in evening / early in the morning to post this.

I am posting this because the thread starter asked for a feedback on marketiva, so here is mine:

I have used them since october 2005 (aproximately) and I have been live trading since almost the beginning. I have never had any problems with them and as far as im concerned everything runs smooth there. The trading is good, the execution is instant. Every time i needed support, it was great.

So far I have nothing to complain about. This is just my feedback.

Steve, did you open an account with them ? If so, how was your experience?

    cheers
