What do you have around your desk?

I always find it interesting to see what kind of stuff that traders have around the desk. What kind of stuff does the average elite trader have around his or her desk? Besides the usual trader's tools. I have picture of family, friends, and my girlfriend. Copy of technical analysis of stock and commodities. Calculator. Half eaten bag of doritioes. And some pen and paper to write on. Pretty plain but it works.

 

Got to have chapstick, gum and a glass of water

 

3, maybe 4 dogs.

 

1 egg of silly putty
glass of water
stuffed armadillo (plush, not a once living armadillo, that's just weird)

 

way too many trading books.... you know the ones, the guys that couldn't make money trading so they wrote a book...

 

Don't use a desk. Trade from a recliner. Table that I made has a rotating top that swings in and out over the arms of the chair and holds the computers (2). Only way to go. Try it.

 

Pen, paper, mug, cell, TV & a microwave. A guitar close by for the boring days. Exciting, I know.
