I stop thinking about what just happened. Watch movies, go to restaurants, gossip with friends- these are the things that I actually do.
I think a good suggestion is to understand that the losses are a part of trading. And it is good instead of aiming for huge profits quickly, to set smaller, more achievable goals.
Two replies: 1) You will never hear successful traders complaining about frustrations. Only traders that are frustrated are those who've lost money. But hear me out. Even the successful traders lose money. However, they lose only what they can afford to lose. In another word, they know exactly how much to lose in advance. Once that limit is hit, they don't dick around. Nor do they pray to their gods to make them whole again. Instead, they get out of their losing position before their losses balloon out of control. Bottom line: D-I-S-C-I-P-L-I-N-E 2) Successful traders will never force themselves in a losing streak. In such a situation, it's always better to simply walk away and reset IMO. You would be amazed how clearly everything looks after taking a break for just a week or two. Bottom line: Don't force yourself to fit where you don't belong
I think there is no better way to deal with frustration than taking a break and engaging in activities you enjoy can reset your mindset. Also re-evaluate your trade and study more.
Get off trading a bit. Go take a walk. Read some loss porn stories to feel not too bad about your losses and then read some trading success stories to encourage yourself that you can do this!
