Like many other threads, it's just been hiJACKED. If he only would start his own ones and stay there...
I try to use maths terminology since I use maths. Your PP3 definition is correct as far as it goes. P1'S preceded a T1. When the T1 is between the two and only two preceding consecutive P1's, then the PP3 has occurred and it is an End Effect. If there is a "wait" of some sort between the first and second P1, that is okay. When you see a comment with a typo in it, correct the typo. you comment has typo's so I am untangling it and will get back to you. you speak of things between bar n-1 and bar n. To be clear these two bars are side by side. since they are side by side, there is nothing between them. Some definitions allow for internals and some definitions do not. I look at systems as being logical. So I put in circuitry to "gate" and/or "kill" contexts that matter. You may have read about price giving permission to volume measurements. premission being given is a "gating". If no permission is there, then there is a "kill". For the OOE's I will type below the 5 OOE's and they are ranked by importance as well. 1. The OOE of the OOE's. 2. Primary volume OOE. 3. secondary volume OOE 4. test procedure OOE. 5. EE band OOE. Item 1. is the above list. Item 2 is the P1 to T1 to P2 to T2. The pattern shows the geometric parts that correstpond to these volume parts. In space, the geometric shape is a parallelogram which has a RTL and a LTL. Two parallelograms make a cycle. One parallelogram is long and the other is short. There is a table that names four types of trends. A parallelogram is a trend geometric container. About no one knows there are four types of trends. To are incomplete and two are complete. the incomplete ones are FBO's. The normal trend and the drift trend make up the two complete type trends. Item 3 is a zoom in on the part of a trend that is near the end of a trend. The OOE is T2P to T2F to P3P. Item 4 is the 3 parts of the test procedure. the log is laid out to achieve a routine way of doing the test procedure. the vparts are: a. test for a repeat, b test for the reverse chron, and c. if the above are both false then go to the NEXT element of the OOE. Item 5 explains to use the 10 bands of the EE's in alphabetical order. The PP band precedes the A band, however. Let say you do not want to lose this post. Have your mother keep in in her most religious book. I typed this from memory.
Why would you begin your own thread and stay there? I will go to your own thread where you stay to read your answer.
Thanks for the explanations. Regarding the "normal trend" (=C)... this trend consists of: 1. c. Dominant to Dominant (D-D) 2. a. Dominant to Non-dominant (D-ND) 3. b. Non-dominant to dominant (ND-D) 4. c. Dominant to Dominant (D-D) Somehow this doesn't fit with what I "know" about the pattern. 1. Price Pt1 to Pt2 = ND (P1 to T1) to D (T1 to P2) volume move 2. Price Pt2 to Pt3 = ND (P2 to T2) 3. Price Pt3 to FTT = D (T2 to P3) Therefore the sequence I see for a normal (C) trend is: ND-D-ND-D Maybe the "abc" of the C trend means something else when we define "dominant" and "non-dominant". You start with a D-D move but what ever way I turn it I end up with: D-ND = Reaching FTT with dominant volume and then turning at the FTT or Pt1 with non-dominant to a RTL breakout direction T1
"The Pattern" is a visualization in color. The above could be "qualified" by adding color or "long" and "short". Imagine that you do this instead of posting an incomplete description. Turns on the independent variable are very helpful for "making money" on the dependent variable. These legs are called price segments which have "ends" which are volume "turns". As you do the "Building of your mind" your mind is capable of assisting you in your building process. When you type what you type, you allow your mind to be curious as to what the mind needs to complete what you have begun. As the years pass, I get to do the drill of repeating myself to you and suggesting to you to complete the effort you are beginning. If you type c, D D, at some point it may occur to you that each D has a different color or a different vector notation. So far it has not for you. In a complete trend half cycle the D and ND are opposite colors or opposite vectors. All End Effect turns have a change of color or vector direction. FTT was invented to describe the dominant failing to traverse at the end of a trend half cycle. It reads "Failure to traverse". Triple space your post. Print your post. Put in all the corrections that I have suggested that you do.
That is the whole point, Jack. You should answer the OP questions on the level they need and not what you think they need. If you think they need your advice and explanation about how you think the markets work, you need to start your own thread and not invade every other thread with your explanations about your ideas. I personally do not understand that the moderators on ET let you do that over and over again.
Why are you posting to me in this thread. Please go to your thread and respond to me in your thread. No one wants to read your views on why I post to answer questions where I am asked questions. Is my level too high or too low? what would you say the sigma deviation is on the side I am on. Is it less than 3 sigma or just way out there?
