Found that option in Trading Tools -> Quote Monitor -> Default Layout -> Colors -> implied-tick

    From that help page,

Implied-tick (text only) - the implied tick for a combo order that is \simulated by adding the values of the legs, as opposed to market data which represents an actual order for the combo.

That the price action swings both ways?

Looks to me like yeri in the wrong color option area to find your answer. Look for a section that has "Time in force" colors, and the rest of the grey text bits.

Not sure what you guys are talking about. "Implied tick" makes perfect sense - there has been no actual market data for the combo, so TWS calculated it from the legs.
