What did you do before you started trading?

If you trade for a living what did you do before?



I want to know what you used to do and what was good or bad about it.

 

Me-Outside Telecom Sales

Pluses, almost always made 6 figures. Now I just pay my dues, and I am confident the money will come. Being a corporate lackey suck though.

 

Listened to some teachers that didn't know WTF they were talking about in high school, and some where pretty good, but yeah....

 

Did back office IT for an investment bank. It was degrading shit.

 

Electronics Technician, it sucked enough to make me investigate trading.

Actually I still do what I did before trading....but not for much longer.

 

Electrical Engineer - Semi-conductor Company

Those panzies can lick my balls now.

 

Pharmaceutical Sales (Hospital Division).

Assets: Excellent compensation, company car, super benefits.
Liabilities: The whole industry is FUBAR-ed beyond belief. Profits come before patients.
