I am a pretty new student of commodities trading. I wondering how the ag futures (and other commodities) behaved in the period during and after 9/11 and Oct 19, '87? I can look up charts, of course. What I am looking more for is analysis and insight and war stories of how commodities reacted and why? I like collecting clearly written analyses of major market events. (Here is an example to give you an idea of what I am asking for. This is an analysis by Steven L. Miller, SFO Magazine columnist, of what led up to the the subprime crunch. I really like analyses like this one.) Thanks in advance.
I saw a nice web site on this for 9-11 several years back, if its still on line I will post the link, or take a look yourself I think it was on mrci.com, think it was. AS far as during 9-11, I don't think the ags ever opened, the attack happened before their opening and the exchanges were all closed by the time they would have opened.
