1 buyer can take up a stock even with many sellers. And vice versa

Back in the day, you could have used block trade data. Thats not so reliable now.

Only way I know , is to watch L2 and try to figure out the players. Not easy.

Safe to say, with the markets taking a massive pooper all week, its mostly short covering and market makers taking the other side of the flow.
