What can be so hard about a vote?

  1. Errr. Im not going to disagree with you. I would just like to point out that the people who vote republican hedgies, CDS traders, CEOs, etc have a vested interest as well...probably much larger than any other demographic constituency. Considering that the CDS market alone if worth tens of TRILLIONS and its not regulated AT ALL (small gov/republican tenet) I would say you will have a tough time arguing that democratic supporters have more skin in the game, monetarily speaking.

  2. Except Jeff Immelt isn't working the judge's table in some New Canaan or wherever polling venue...

  3. You've just made a great case for getting rid of the electoral college.

  4. Signs you might have problems voting:

If you have to ask.... "What time will the bus arrive?" then you may have problems

If you are greeted by Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson, on the way to the building, then you may have problems

If you take too long in the booth, because you are trying to remember what your pastor said, then you may have problems

If a kid barely out of high school is explaining to you how your vote is important, and has a T shirt for you, then you may have problems

If you start yelling out "racism" because you were asked to show ID, then you may have problems
