What Broker to use to Manage OPM

Discussion in 'Professional Trading' started by Calculated Risk, Jan 9, 2006.

  1. Not to beat a dead horse, but IDEAL Pro trading has been "allowed" in FA / F&F accounts going back to at least June 2005 and probably before then.

However, unlike other asset classes (including futures and stocks), you couldn't do what I've described in that paragraph above, posted earlier this morning. You had to enter and manage forex trades separately for each client account. Not very practical at all, beyond 1 or at most 2 accounts.

If that deficiency has been corrected by now, that's great. I just want to make sure that I understand you correctly. Thanks.

  5. Def,
If I download the demo acc. version will it provide me with all the services as if I had real money?
Will I be able to test the multi account management features and?
will the account balance have all charges and fees taken calculated?
Will the trades placed in the demo be exactly the same as with real money - execution time, spread, stops etc.?

    Thanks

The demo is just a demo, quotes are not live but you can test some of the other features. We do offer a paper trader but you need to pay for market data but that's not for FA accounts.

  7. You'd be crazy not to give your biz to IB, unless you require > 50:1 leverage on FX. There isn't anyone in the small$ managed-space.
