guys just to make sure im talking overnight not daytrading. i heard someone here mention apexfutures.com and how they have low daytrading requirements but what about overnight? im currently with interactive brokers and im not happy about the $6500 per contract for the ym, es, and nq futures. is there a law that says the rates cant be lower and if not what company has the lowest requirements? thank you
are you talking about cmegroup.com? if so i dont see the info on here. heres a link to the ym http://www.cmegroup.com/trading/equity-index/us-index/e-mini-dow_contract_specifications.html damn i hope its not 6500 per contract by law
Look a little closer! http://www.cmegroup.com/wrappedpages/clearing/pbrates/performancebond.html?group=CBOT STOCK INDEX FUTURES&type=OutrightRates&h=2&reporttype=marginrate
haven't looked at that in a while, but I believe the definition of "overnight" usually means exchange-minimum margins.
its the OutrightRates right? http://www.cmegroup.com/wrappedpage...&type=OutrightRates&h=2&reporttype=marginrate i guess it is 6500. damn! o well. thanks for your help
