    DAVE's Killer Bread is good[ if one can past the ''killer name'' for a food LOL]:D:D
    100% whole wheat+, Pepper Ridge Farm, since a kid ;
    some times the 7 grain or 21 grain, hard to keep up with all the good stuff numbers .
    Mom's was among the best ;

  2. Interesting you should say that. All of the fruit I eat is fresh except for blueberries. I prefer them frozen, and eating them frozen. I have a full measuring cup everyday. Love ‘em. Can’t live without ‘em.

    Middle son lives about 5 blocks from a Dave's Killer Bread factory in Tuscaloosa. I have been wondering if they were any good.

    YES;
    + i'm a mid born also LOL.
    I bought more of the Hi priced bread when the bakery surplus store was open on Royal Ave.
    Trader, she asked about ''copycat trades?? ''
    The Dave's K 21Grain , Green label [WMT]reminds me of the old green spinach Popeye cartoon; big arms + green / copycat spinach lobby .
    I have some that green can Popeye spinach also.
    Dont smoke a corncob pipe LOL:cool::cool:

    Bread has been a bane for me most of my life. Not only bread, but starches et al. Pasta, corn, potatos, etc.

    For bread, every few weeks I buy a loaf of rye (or marbled rye) bread w/seeds, made daily at the local bagel store. 5-bux a loaf, plus tax.
    They make no claims about ingredients... And my purchase is based on enjoyment, not as a eating healthy choice!

    But my near-daily goto is Egglife egg white wraps. This IS a healthy option. Alas, fairly expensive. Sprouts pita bread makes it's way once or twice a week too.
    I also have a stock of Wasa crispbread. More of a cracker than bread, but it serves double duty, as it helps curtail cravings for "crunch".

    Embarassingly, my family eats Sara Lee Delightful bread... a 45 calorie per slice, frankenfood! Yes,
    it's a frankenfood and my family doesn't care. I just stay in MY lane.

  10. About 35 or so years ago, I used to eat buckwheat pancakes every Saturday. I'm sure I'd like buckwheat bread if I could find it.
