  2. Buy bond receive coupon, thats the lowest it can get. Otherwise big reward aways comes with big risk. Low risk Big reward is a lie.

    There is a difference between volatility and risk. When Wall Streets talk risk, they usually mean volatility.

    Bond has relatively low volatility but is risky, you have inflation risk, you have exit risk and even for Treasury, there may be default risk if national debt spirals out of control.

    If you long iron, do you use your F150 or rent a semi? :p

    LOL;
    not a semi. My favorites include copper/ yellow brass, brass shells stainless steel + most any metal.
    Red brass has so much copper in it , haven't gotten much of that.
    Those metals dealer I sell to/ have or lease a fleet of those big trucks+ many of them millionaires.
    Its low risk business because even steel or iron , worst case does a slow rust;
    unless we use WD40 or for cooking pots an edible material LOL:D:D
    [Edit= I have a good Andrew Carnegie youngster book with pictures:D:D]

    TRUE;
    with HI % single stocks which is a key on that.
    BUT even a 200dma helps alot/
    ETFs like SPY.
    BY the way/ IBD/Investors Business Daily/ INVESTORS Business WeeklyNew Nature /NEVER was buy @ bottom + sell + top.
    Really/ buy higher + sell higher top trenders like 85 EPS or better + BIG Difference.
    AND really much more to that; I seldom do single stocks.
    May do some more but more SPXL,SPY/QLD QQQ/2024 ;
