  2. Still no luck here in finding an English version of the book "Downward spiral: Memoirs of a Trader".

Basically, it's Jerome K's book on his 'Rogue' trading with Societie Generale.

  3. Why would you want to read the memoirs of a Rogue trader/problematic gambler?

That sounds rather depressing and useless and predictable.
I got caught up in the money, the dream, the hype, the rush.....I'm human, feel sorry for me. But I am becoming a better man....day, by day,

    The end.

  4. I wanted to see more of 'His' side of the story, and from what I read, there are certain truths that seem to come up again, and again in these rogue cases. Such as management knowing clear well certain traders were 'pushing their limits', etc. But, when bonuses are applied to management for their team's wins... people tend to turn a blind eye until liquidations happen.

    Good points.
One Jack Schwager top trader who dog gambled as kid had a great quote.[I'm not saying anyone should dog gamble or rouge trade \much less if over 18.]
Mr Greenblatt told jack Schwager ''i could not understand why all the other gamblers were so stupid as not to bet on a dog with 99 to 1 odds'' LOL:D:D Talk about price shocks \that dog finished dead last.
In no way was he promoting dog gambling, he admitted he lost the stupid bet.:caution::caution:

    Good pic + good read.
I almost built a log cabin; but 2''x 4'' conventional is fine. I did use circle cut sawmill cypress, i air dried myself. The saw mill owner said i will sell you some dry pine cheaper; i said no thanks , that's all right, i want cypress+ paid up for it green[wet].
I think the green cypress took about 6 month to air dry.:caution::caution:

Good points but in capital market always a chance for an unusual surprise, which may or may not repeat.
I was driving along a state highway one time + saw a sign that said ''FREE''
OLD school farmer was giving away acres of sunflowers, ripe but still good looking\ ALL you wanted, so i loaded up my trunk.................................................................... He also had the knives there to cut them. THAT may sound fake but its real.:caution::caution:
