I am looking for something that can help me with money management. What do you have to say about The Automatic Millionaire by David Bach?
I don't know about this book, but a general rule about deciding whether a book is worthwhile or not is look at the one and two star reviews.
I have the Trading Sardines book, I just haven't had time to get around to reading it yet. But it's planned! What I recall from an interview with her, she was worried of being a horrible writer, so before she wrote it, she read Stephen King's book on Writing Well first.
Re-reading "The Rise of Carry - The Dangerous Consequences of Volatility Suppression and the New Financial Order of Decaying Growth and Recurring Crisis" Tim Lee, Jamie Lee & Kevin Coldiron
https://bookdown.org/maxime_debellefroid/MyBook/ This guy is great for learning about vol. And this guy is the OG trader. http://tradestrongmanagement.blogspot.com/ Might be hard to find current stuff by him though.
If she did, it didn't help much. This one is pretty awful as well, as far as her writing style goes. Anyway, I'll just leave it at that.
Yikes. But, thanks for the honesty Can't be worse than some of the millennial self-published crap I've read the last two years though. (I hope) Actually, on my re-read list, I just read The Intelligent REIT Investor for the 2n'd time in the last two years. I don't agree with everything the author posts over at Seeking Alpha, but I'm sure he still knows a lot more than I do on REITs
