That's very interesting Raymack, thank you! I suggest offering it to Interactive Brokers too. Many retail traders either rely on them for charting data, or chart through one of the other vendors but still need the Interactive Broker quotes for order entry. MarkB
For those of you who will be staying with the ER2 and going over to ICE, aren't you worried about the lower volume?
Yes--volume stiks-so moving all of my efforts to ES which is what I trade 80% of the time anyhow. you drop large cars on the ES and no one blinks--try it on the ER2 and you will get spanked hard. Can't imagine what will happen now with the thin vol.
What's up with ICE and IB regarding ER2 ?? Do you not currently have plans to have data/trading through IB? Yikes. I make my living trading the ER2.
when will er2 stop trading at cme? the volume is still good...has ice already started trading er2? if so what is the vol and the symbol and how does one trade it?
IB has had ICE/NYBOT trading of ER2 for months. IB underlying is RUT and and trading class is TF. For data you have to subscribe to ICE quotes for 1 GBP per month.
