I've let this little Chris Watts - OTL lovefest go on long enough. Points made. Counter-points made. Ad nauseum. ENOUGH. Any further posts that are a personal attack on the other person will be removed. Let's see if we can all step up to the plate and act like adults. Thanks.

  3. .....a partial fill tells you about market conditions! learn to listen to and read what its saying......sometimes i love getting a partial and have to pay up for the rest......usually a better trade!

  4. Yeah you poopy heads!!!!!

BTW....It's almost impossible to answer your partials question because each firm is different...some have better deals then others, some have a floor broker, some batch...it depends on your firm.....which im sure you are getting ready to name for us anyway right??:D

Jesus Christ why are you still stuck on this. You think the specialist game is a fair game? What you think you the only one that gets these fills?

The situation you describe needs to be clarified. Was it a limit order or a market order? If it was a market order then tough luck you can get filled wherever and however the dickhead feels like. It could also be NX's going off, most likely the case. It could also be from the consolidated tape. It could also be specialist front running just because he felt like it. Not like you can do anything about it.

If thats what your big question is about when it comes to training newbies, I feel real bad for them.

  6. what is the big mystery? the specialist is matching in the crowd. That is assuming the order is on the NYSE. Are you sure it isn't going to a regional exchange?
