  1. They all might have to become nurses...

But one day all these problems will be solved... the day they die, the misery ends. So we have the solution for the problem. :wtf:

Better solution would be more sex. No birth control.
I just saw a robot on FBN. Two eyes, two hands, can do anything a $15/hr worker can do. 24/7 365 days a year. 50k to buy. No benefits. Probably a little maintenance. Country with highest wages will be first to be totally automated. There are a lot of things nurses do that robots could do also, or better.

  4. Perhaps at the same time, the cost of maintaining and spending on aged people would become minimum.

Everything including food, medicines, inventions, music, education, nursing, medical procedures, etc. would be handled by high-AI robots.

  5. That's actually spot on...

The fundamental pressing issue in Japan can really be formulated as, very simply, "should we pull the plug on Grandma?"

They need to raise the minimum age for military to 65. Let them kill each other off. At that age they are willing to fight for almost anything.

Probably better to die on the battlefield than a hospital bed.
So recruit the elderly for service in the ME. They will fight clever. No youthful rushing into things !
    One way ticket....................
