What are the differences between trading retail and say trading remote with bright?

  1. Daal

    Besides the leverage

  2. Arnie

    The commissions:D

Plus you need a series 7.

  3. From what I have read there is a "boot camp". (Maybe remote traders do not need to attend, I do not know)

The Platform is the "Redi Platform". (as with any platform there are folks that like it and folks that do not)

And if you ask you might get a ride in Bugsy's "Mafia Packard" :)

If you currently trade via API you will have to switch to the FIX protocol.

  5. Bright only trades NYSE stocks. They don't trade NASDAQ. If you want to trade NASDAQ, then they don't teach you how, you have to teach yourself. They teach NYSE listed stocks only with the specialist.

NOTE: There are benefits when trading with the specialist vs. NASDAQ. You get price improvements is one thing.
