So why don't they over throw the government? Ultimatley it's up to the people, even under a dictator.

  5. I didn't see much about or from Cuba yesterday but maybe it is because I did not look.

Looks like Raul's return from the mothball fleet might have given the new guy a quick refresher course on how to suppress and oppress the people. A quick course in Busting Heads the Cuban Way.

Maybe things are still brewing but yesterday was just a "risk-off" day.

We shall see but loss of momentum works in the regimes favor.

The Cuban president is just re-playing the Castro script -- word for word -- while sending his goons to suppress the protestors.

I have to admit that I find Biden surprisingly grounded on a lot of these issues. Maybe he is old school and maybe it’s not en Vogue but he leads on this stuff.

  8. As I said, Biden is fully prepared to ride in a 1956 Chevy Bel Air right along with the Cubans.

"Grounded". Ahhh okay, that was generous.

Keep in mind that Robert Gates - an Obama appointee and Bush as well- said. "Joe Biden has been wrong about every foreign policy issue for the last 40 years." or was it 30 or 50.

Yeah, that’s your go-to but Gates isn’t exactly perfect himself. I’m sure him and Biden had major disagreements though. It happens.

pfft, Biden doesn't like getting called a Marxist/socialist/communist so is pandering to righties in his "bipartisan crusade" to people that will continue to hate him at the expense of poor Cubans.
