    Ah sorry, thought the number flashing up was profit/loss on the day not over all account, my bad!!

    In that case, still going the right way, I don't see an issue, keep doing it, till it starts going the wrong way, then fix it and get it going back the right way.

  2. I think its probably an offshoot of the same strat in another thread where the guy goes long and short the same thing and dumps the loser so fast he wins.

    Its actually not a bad concept, you want too look for a time where market is sideways before news say then when it breaks out you close the right trade and hopefully if continues in that direction.

    Downside your double paying comms all the time.

    You'd be better off just taking 1 position where you took the 1 position off, but thats chasey so you likely wouldnt take the trade.

    Might try this later, I can hedge with my account.

  6. Raw return is meaningless as it tells nothing about the risk taken, what is your return over maximum draw down?
