We are looking to go short here Again.. This is about bench mark data. In this case the FTT is in the simplest forms and volume is not looked at. Once we understand volume a bit more we will be able to add it to JH. For our bench mark we are going short at this level with a stop at the extension of the channel. We have stopped the JH way as we have gone back to learning mode (volume related )
Still waitin for the Jacky to explaing that short at the opening? Are you willing to wait another 11 years?I admire your patience, though.
I have no idea. but the trend line is holding. It is surprising to see points above point 3 in a down trend . The volume is a bit tricky to detect when the future cant be seen It seems to be off half or even a third of a channel. I shoud double check my YM trend lines they are not like ES's
Keeping track is as important is doing things exactly, no matter how exact one is, it does not matter if there is no exact record. What we are doing here is taking concepts and keeping track of them. As concepts become rules our records should be more and more positive. Even record keeping is a concept and needs improvement (profit) Seperating VOL, (volume AND channel AND DU) and CHAN (channel only) and DU (DU Only) helps understand the importance of the 3. We look at yesterdays chart (point 1 is at the yellow higher fractal.) Point 3. + 1 VOL : DU followed by increase vol (note volume dips) + 1 DU (only) : reversal on DU 0 CHAN (only): no channel existed to have been traded on FTT ___ +1 VOL: DU followed by increase vol (note volume dips) +1 DU: revers on DU 0 CHAN: no chanel line PT 4 (after ext) ****no apparent sign*****(to me) 0 VOL 0 DU 0 CHAN PT 4 late (.8 score) +0.8 VOL: entry after break in 0 DU : none +0.8 CHAN: POINT 5 0 VOL: Seems obvious But in real time questionable to me 0 DU 1 CHAN TALLY: VOL 2.8 DU 2 chan 1.8 Conclusions can only be drawn once new trend develops to be fare. NOTE 1. Break out level of volume seems to be too low so was not used 2. DU may have gave false positives 3. After the channel was formed, It did work. missing the FTT is not a bad trade, just a lost trade. that was fixed by volume 4. It is assumed that I can find point 1 2 and 3. But I already decided where point 3 was before I started , we will see If I can detect point 1 2 and 3 before the next channel forms 5. DU is exact (once level is determined). Channel is exact (once drawn) but volume is still to vague as is break out volume. 6. End of day seems to stop at a trend line, there is no reversal to be expected yet this has been consistent in our 2 days and should be added to our record. Looking ahead: Only a few concepts have been used and ALL of them need improvement. Until they yield a yes or no result only. Channel may be given more and more weight after a new one is drawn and less weight as FTT's and volume indicate a break out. Alternative learning style Building from the bottom up does not take more time, instead it allows us to keep track of how we are doing. As spread out as I seem, learning is taking place, motivation is brought on by scores. Too much has to be learnt tapes and volume annotations need to be added. All will have its time. Accomplishment Today we looked at DU some basics of volume and channels. Improvement was seen in detecting the FTT that took us by surprise yesterday. I look forward to DU and low VOL mid channel. We also got a feeling that there was a sign to reverse at every TL and the FTT. During extensions there was a lack or signals ( a good thing) re entering once our signals come back is better the false entering twice
