Yeah it is useful to think about investing in probability terms, i.e. consider expected reward and standard deviation of it, i.e. risk.

First take time to decompress. Take a walk, sit outside, drink coffee, take a long bath, etc. depending on my mood at the time. Then I sit down and analyze everything to see what went wrong and try to learn from my mistakes.
There is no guarantee get profit today will get the same result for tomorrow, forex trading is business, in business, no fixed result, sometimes get big earnings, sometimes low, sometimes break even, sometimes loss, when dealing with loss, each trader maybe has a different habit, but I think better to refresh minds and take a rest awhile, take a breathe and control emotion.
I take them as granted, part of the business. Just don't let them to get over certain threshold. If they become too much, clearly it's a signal to overhaul the system or ditch it altogether.
I think a trader having a bad week or month should not think too much because having too many thoughts will make things only worse. The right thing to do would be to take some time off from trading, clear the head, find and fix mistakes in the trading strategies and maybe then, try to trade again, preferably a micro account.
%% Exactly\ even though a bad month should have one trading smaller by end of month .Unless you have a low hit rate, then a bad month ,my mean much.............................................................................................................For me it usually means the major + medium trend changed\but did not know it\ like JAN,2022. In hindsight the inverses doing better is a clue now, but [1] month may not mean much
