1. Krispy Kreme!

When you have a healthy economy, it looks like this...

    Japan:

    or this

    Thailand:

And this one is the USA. Its located in Los Angeles...the most populated city in the most populated state in the US. The doors should be coming off the hinges too, right? Wrong!

Interesting find, anyway first off its a fucking donut why people would wait in line for that is beyond me....as for the one in LA, how old is that video, KKD has been around for for quite sometime in the US, I remember the hype when they first started opening now its just another donut shop like anywhere else.

Donuts arent the hype anymore its cupcakes!!!!

If you want to ride the next hot, hyped up trend check out the cupcake trend and notice how many stores are now opening up around the US selling nothing but $4.00 cupcakes, a friend of mine in California said they just opened up one and the line wrapped around the entire store.....ITS A CUPCAKE!!!!!

  3. In Niagara Falls, Canada the Coach store has had lineups outside of the store everyday from 10-9 weekdays and 10-6 on weekends for at least a year... The wait time appears to be 15-30 minutes on average, and 45min to 2 hrs on weekends and holidays

I've seen it firsthand. Its the only store in the outlet mall there that has this type of mania.

That or its just a ploy and they force their customers to wait outside in the -5C to -10c weather just for kicks.

  4. I havent seen the cupcakes here in northern CA yet. I sure wouldnt buy one for 50 cents let alone $4 though.

I found this interesting video of a brand new krispy kreme being opened up in winston-salem. They brought out a celebrity and a news crew, ribbon cutting and all the bells & whistles and you see at the most just a couple of customers. I dont know if the news crew was trying to avoid getting customers on camera or not when they were inside, but at :13 seconds in to the video, you get the only shot of the front door from the outside and there was no line at all. I think they had more employees than customers to be honest.
