dont eat that shit dude, thats 1000 calories per meal right there. Ridiculous. Humans simply does not need that much food unless you are a day laborer or something.
As more and more companies come under attack for their earnings I think the ones in the industry that cannot re adjust their strategy will perish. Growing up with young Wendy was a thrill and we identified with the Wendys premium offering. But Now as adults I don't think we want to give our Children this type of diet. I saw the snack wraps at MCD and the salad offering at Burger King as a viable option lately. As a trade what does it have- Locations are usually near a major competitor so its not strategic. They don't market as effectively. Its the same thing happening across the US economy. The wrong people are in charge. Productivity is in jeopardy not the concept. If a team is not winning you fire the coach and trade some players. Not in today's marketplace.
Hey Thats exactly the point. None of the food is good. Soon they will have to sell apples for a quarter at the drive through. The coffee at these places is also terrible. YUM brands has always been my favorite - My Preference is the Dunkin Donuts- Tuna Salad and Coffee combo. Thats not even on the list its a customized order. In NYC The ban on large juice is just the beginning. Soon no super size fries. No Large Shake- No more than 3 sugars in your coffee. In contrast the lunch menu at Starbucks cost more but the food preparation looks like its worth the price.
My problem with Wendys and (other than Chick-Fil-A) all the fast food restaurants isn't the food. I've had good food from all the fast food outlets. The problem is with the service. To put it in frank terms, the management and the employees just don't give a shit.
True, I forgot 2/3rds of America is obese so that probably wouldn't fly well politically on eaither side of the fence
In that case you should be able to enjoy Wendys twice a day - given the recommended calorie intake for a male is 2000 a day. Buy Wendys.
I was doing some indepth analysis on the food industry and I saw the link to a drough issue hurting the corn markets: http://seekingalpha.com/article/716691-rising-corn-prices-show-need-for-solazyme-s-technology Corn is in everything- The biscuits the bread the food fillers. Finally got in contact with the media person and they said they were happy. I don't know if I believe it. Time will tell.
