A politician taking a tough stances on their opponents policies or stating they are not competent is very different than a politician urging his/her followers go over and burn down his/her opponents house & harm them. Outlining that someone is not telling the truth while proving evidence to back the assertions that the individual is spreading fabrications now (and previously) and therefore is not a reliable source — is very different than urging people on the Internet to go harm someone. You really should learn the vast difference between raising a mob to cause someone harm and pointing out factual information.
Post the specific quote you are referring to when someone is saying to "go burn down someone's house" or "cause someone harm". Post the actual quote. Don't run away or say "go read". Be a man and post the actual quote or quotes.
Somehow you find that Ron DeSantis’ press secretary Christina Pushaw urging the harassment and intimidation of reporters on Twitter is appropriate. She has done this multiple times; it is a regular pattern of behavior. Reporters in our democracy are the “fourth estate” - their job is to ask questions to keep politicians accountable. A government official taking to social media to urge the abuse of reporters undermines the very foundation of democracy. Likewise Wendy Roger’s taking to social media to urge a mob to “hit” another politician running for office is anti-democratic and unethical. There is a clear line on what is appropriate in politics and these activities by politicians and their appointees urging abuse and harm on others using social media is clearly inappropriate. Only those who want to take down our democracy and desire our country to be an authoritarian dictatorship would support this type of “Brownshirt” incitement in our country.
