Ya I've screened outside of penny stock range using volatility in the screener on finviz but another problem is catching them fast enough before theyve made their moves. Futures are just a better fit for me. I'm a degen so I can trade in the midnight hours, catch 3 hours of sleep, and then trade US hours. All the while I see every move as it happens. Thanks though.
Ya I just went and looked at RB on investing.com real quick. It moves in increments of 1/100 of a cent? That's fucking insane. I saw one 5 minute bar was 12 cents. That's 1200 increments. Is each of those 1200 a tick or does the tick count differently?
Yes. Well, no, 1/100th of a cent. 1/10000th of a dollar. But you get the drift. Oi, just pull up a chart of the thing and look! lol!
My work days start at 3am so I leave my house by something, but may have been up since 10pm night before. I use that schedule towards my off days as well for trading. I work Sat - Monday and trade Tues thru Fri. My off days I sleep like 3 to 6 hours.
Slow times? 2020 have been one of the most consistently volatile years in history. There have been times in the past where ES have consistently been moving 10 points per day or LESS for most of the year. That's when you want to start looking for something else.
