  2. Because he didn't insist that your wager be monetary?

  3. I can certainly understand why you lack the conviction to maintain your position and outlook. It's all about the brain-pan, man. Don't be too hard on yourself, it's likely genetic-depletion in your case. I won't hold my breath awaiting your payoff...

Glad to hear some of you made $$ on the call.

  5. It's your day today, riskarb. So you get the kudos and the barbs, and I humbly take them.

You misunderstand though, I didn't say I made money, I just lost alot less then what I should have. I covered my positions early this morning. Anyway, I think making 10% in March will suffice.

  6. No slamma, although you can say that by not betting I did save money.

I'm referring to my short positions, and the fact that I covered them all this morning with the riskarb thread in the back of my head.

I didn't feel that great about these positions anyway, and riskarb confirmed it. Like I said, I made 10% in March, and riskarb helped save me from losing some of it back!

    Thanks riskarb!

  7. LOL, but I did insist, and he flaked. We're not talking $50k here.

When push came to shove JS insisted on anonymity for the audited-performance wager... I have the PMs in my inbox.

JS now on ignore, along with his other recent aliases.

  8. careful, riskarb!

I wouldn't confuse flaking with me saying "NO" to your offer to make a wager. That is my right, correct??

As far as ignore, what took you so long?

And when push comes to shove, if I&L wants to get involved, and you can ask him b/c I won't, you have a bet. Better yet, why don't you talk to your buddy I&L and ask him the wisdom of making such a bet.

I say you're the chicken, and you never really wanted to bet.

Talk about a bad winner. Thats the worst kind.
    I'm sorry I congratulated you.

  9. You certainly get a lot of mileage off of a thread that wasn't even started by you in the first place.

    Time to bow out, dude!

    :)

  10. I've offset 1/2 the position here at 1105.50, YM at 10157 -- converted the rest to a synthetic straddle, neutral delta at 1105.
