Yes I agree. When you fade trends often enough, once in a while your gonna get your face slammed into the sidewalk

The last couple of days I have been sick with the flu and I have a pounding headache that reminds me to be thankful for those days I am healthy.

I even went home early today as I just was drained and it didn't look like I was going to get any trading signals.

I went home and setup my remote desktop so that I could still trade if a setup came along but none was to be had.

While I didn't trade any setups I did have some options that expire today and so I added to my LVS holdings, closed out of my USO holdings and stayed even with GE.

I do book the gains for options that expire normally on this day of the month (when I remember to as I forgot last month)

USO 25 covered + 114

LVS 5 call + 164

GE 14 Call + 163

USO March 25 Put needs to be added in. + 596

+ 1037 Day

- 19290 Week

First day back in the office without feeling totally dead.

[More...] I was still dragging a bit as I came into the office but much better than I was last week. The day ended with the dow surging up about 500 points to close out the day.

I started out the day on the wrong foot and shorted PCZ which turned into a loser. Holding longer would have turned it into a winner but the risk didn't seem worth it. - 782

RHT, H, B6+ was a good trade + 2547

NFLX is starting to cross over into overbought longer term so I shorted 4 APR 47.50 calls @ .75 each.

Nice to know you feel better.I do not know days when market is up big ,like today .i find hard to make money.This is the big problem,because 95% of the time I do shorts only.

Thanks for the kind words.

I would guess that you short based on weakness and I can see where a day like today would be tough. I don't normally short based on weakness but rather when a stock is overbought so days like today are a net positive event for me.

You should join us in the chat if your mostly shorting as many of us in there usually short. If your interested PM me.
