and here are the executions... i quit using Ninja trader when the system was bogging down in fast markets and it cost me over 3k in one day!

LMFAO!!!! Did it cost you 3K of paper profits?!!?!?

I use Ninja Trader too and in you attached "statement" the column for connection shows Esignal which means those are all paper trades!!

    What a douche.

I have seen so many people like yourself on ET. They always try to point out that people are papertraders.. or fake traders.. LMAO..
you don't know shit about me.. but i do know a little bit about you.

You are weak minded, insecure, and are having a lot of trouble understanding what it is you should be doing with your life since lately it has revovled around a free open forum blog that you seem to think is real. Have fun in your play land (ET) but always realize that it is a fantasy world.. visit it but do not live in it!!! DUMBASS

you have not hit any nerves.. i don't care if u think i live in a box or if i live in a mansion... seriously.. i do live in a huge home. But I know that even if i post pictures etc.. you will say.. oh thats not real etc.. too funny

    Robert,

I read your journal from time to time and thanks for the honest postings in your journal. Based on what you've shown, I'm sure that you will be successful in life for the simple fact that you are controlling your ego and trying to be objective.

Basically, I wanted to post to respect your integrity and honesty with your journal. Its unlikely you will stop trading (something like the fever was there even though the money was not) but I like the fact that you are honest and call a spade a spade.

Of course the peanut gallery will shoot you down and say "I told you so", but it wasn't their money on the line, the gains were yours as well as the losses.

In any case, I just wanted to give you mad respect for the consistency and honesty in this journal. Sometimes, its nice to see some integrity and see someone who can make you have hope for the human race, especially with all the lying that goes on daily in this biz.

    Respectfully,

  7. Hi Oracle,

    Thanks for your reply

Who do you trade through with Ninja? (I apologize if you already stated it, my mind is not fully "clear" at the moment)

    Best

  8. Robert,

The joke you made few days back came true. Isn't it? This is a science of human psychology (Psycho-Cybernetics). It is very important to stay positive :)

My 2 cents will be to add this in your to-read list. Audio book will be even better...

Sorry about your losses. I'm not qualified enough to make recommendation here but still trying...

    1. Fading is very dangerous strategy and human brain is guaranteed to fail in long run. Someone said very right, eat like bird and poop like elephant. Fading with discretion has common fate. One bad day and months of profit goes in air. Try trend trading.

IT IS LOT EASIER TO MAKE MONEY BY FOLLOWING TREND THAN FADE. WATCH FOR 5D MA AND NEVER TRY TO TRADE AGAINST IT - SPECIALLY WHEN SLOPE IS STEEP.

    2. Your stock pick system should reject media/news/earning companies. They are very dangerous play. News RSS should do the trick. Most of your big losers are media play/victim - isn't it?

    3. Stocks do have personality. So restrict your universe to stocks that you know very well. Or at least give them preference. Try a portion of your play on ETFs...

    4. Why don't you start trading ES? Just one instrument to follow and it's lot simpler to trade. Runs 24x5 so gap-up-down is not a big problem here.

MOST IMPORTANT: TAKE 2 WEEKS+ VACATION

    Good luck.

    Robert,

don't let guys like limit to shake your confidence. They are vague, empty and have nothing behind them.

I am following your journal for a long time and I am sure you have everything it takes to be a successful trader. Just take some time off the market, let emotions set and start from the scratch.

You are doing a very good job with automating your trades. I would be second to NoDoji to suggest to look more on paper trading and to put more effort to refine your trend following signals to really diversify your strategies.

Last weeks/months you sounded a bit nervous and overwhelmed. It is probably not a good idea to trade if you are under pressure (brings more emotions to the game). It might be wise to take a longer brake from market to let things set a little bit...

    Respectfully,

  10. Robert, I trade futures with a futures brokerage that supports Ninja. I also have a stock account for longer swing trading that I don't use ninja since I hold for months at a time.

Robert, why don't you take some time off and not make any decisions right now. I traded with Chaos, who graduated from Harvard and once who had a free trading room at one time and manages $ millions of private money. He took a 10 point hit on the ES, after that he took some time off. So even very successful traders can take a big loss. Its what comes after. You need to determine what you are doing right or wrong.

I pointed out some rules earlier on that I think if you implement them, will greatly reduce your risk and improve your trading. You did not blow out $ 200,000 today, so you can easily make this money back, but you should not trade for awhile.

I think having this journal is hard since you have scum bags who come in here on a losing day to say told you so. These ass wipes can not even trade themselves out of paper bag. Neke has some big losing days like blowing $ 80,000 but comes right back and starts making money.
