  1. Busy day today

I traded a lot of shares today and most of the trades worked out.
LEN was a gap up that was an error in entry. So I exited out and luckly it was in the good at the time. + 59
BBBY WW intraday and a TD CAMO that stopped out even + 1
KBH Should have been a WW signal but I used a moving average for a bounce off / entry point. went against me and stopped out. I had some size on this one so the loss is pretty small. It did turn around and would have been profitable but I did not want to allow a trade to go far against me. – 12
SHAW was not overbought daily but became overbought intraday with a very large move higher for the day. I faded it with small size and it worked out well but retraced and I was stopped out. +35
    SNDK WW stopped out +1
STI intraday WW that worked out well. scalped some and let the rest go until I was stopped out. + 108
ZION intraday overbought. but not daily overbought for the first trade. Then it gave a WW signal and I shorted it again. I also followed with the first short an addon to the short as it went my way. I was able to get about all that I could out of it as it retraced the whole move back. +139
ZUMZ gap up fade that I was able to get more than the target with. + 138

  2. Was given a few nice trades today.

I did miss a short entry by three cents as I put my offer in three cents above the at that time HOD (might still be the HOD). I never like it when that happens but if I don’t get them once in a while I also know that my offers are too low when I am fading. So it comes with the package.

ITUB gave me my first trade of the day with a WW signal and it started out ok but I was then stopped out from my trailing stop. I used weakness from yesterdays close with the open today for entry. + 23

EGO was another daily WW that I used the close along with the open today for entry. stopped out and did alright with it considering it turned all the way around and then made new highs near the EOD. + 91

AGCO was an intraday WW signal. Didn’t go far before being stopped out. + 56

INFY intraday WW signal. Also was a daily WW short but that was not a factor in the trade. Never went down much and was stopped out + 23

OSIS was my one and only over bought stock today. Trade went well and I put a little extra size on it. I also scalped some but it didn’t stay up long enough to really do much as I pretty much sold the very top (32.37). Great trade and I tried to let some ride to see how far down it would go but was stopped out near my target. + 364

XCO was another daily WW that I used the open / close for entry. Didn’t go anywhere. +15

Holding FNSR over as its a gap up plus two which is a strong percentage fade. It goes with the theory that everyone that wants to get on the bus has done so and with any move down on monday the weak hands with cover quick to give it a retracement. I will also fade any opening move higher.

X broke down near the close but I ended up getting out as time ran out. I was hoping it would fall to 65 into the close but it just bounced around. I will be looking to fade any move higher with it on the open monday. + 2

  3. Not a bad day

I do start school again today but have not actually started anything yet as I was trading all day. I guess with a day like today I can’t complain to much.

I had some winners and losers. I was stopped out of my carry over with FNSR pretty much at the high of the day. I started to fade the opening move higher as I felt that it would retrace. It didn’t do so in time and appered that it could keep going so I walked away with a stop. – 198

AGCO gave me several short WW signals including one at the HOD but I was already in and underwater so I did not want to commit more to a trade that was not going my way. I scaled down in size with dips until I was closing out the final shares at a small gain per share. – 191

IPXL was a daily WW signal. I kept the trade very small as the volume was very small and when I became busy with other trades I closed it out at a small gain. While I could have made more by holding longer I did actually close near the EOD price so there wasn’t much more to get. + 16

MMR gave off several signals including a gap up during the open which I first entered in with followed by a B8 short signal that I pounded on pretty hard. Trade went about as good as I could ask for as the B8 signal was just short of the move and I was able to have a good cost basis which retraced pretty quick for a nice gain. +743

MR gave a great B8 short signal and I was able to scalp some shares but I closed out a little too soon by having too close of an eye on the close. I should have just waited it out until the close but it still was a pretty good trade. + 694

MTL was another opening B8 short. this one really came back far to end up near the open. + 602

X gave a WW intraday Short after being overbought yesterday. Ended up getting stopped out but was a good trade considering the small size. + 76

  8. Much slower day today

I took a lot of stop losses as well. I ended up doing ok in the end with MMR but it was up and down all day. I started out great fading the opening but then I received signals to trade that was stopped out several times reversing the gain and putting me in the red. The signals continued and in the end I came out about where I was after the opening gains. At least somewhere in the ball park. IB did alright as my commissions where huge today in relation to my gains.
    MMR + 105
TK first stopped me out with a long intraday WW signal and then I was stopped out with a small gain with a short signal. – 40
ILMN went crazy into the close. positive guidance and a large short interest will do that to a stock. I took a stab at it during afterhours and did ok considering I put no size on it. I was stopped out two times and then made a little on the third before getting stopped out with a gain. + 22

INFY gap up fade + 60 pretty much hit the HOD so I didn’t get many shares short

HIG gap up fade + 70

CAAS daily and intraday WW short signal. stopped out + 4

    AMAG + 36

  9. Started out the day with SNE and ILMN

I made a little with each but I came back once to often with ILMN and ended up giving it all back and then some more. SNE was a gap up trade and I ended up scalping some as it was a pretty slow mover.
    SNE + 41
CRL gave me a B8 short signal and the only thing that went wrong with that trade is I kept the size very small. Made full target and was a great trade. + 401
    ILMN – 38
SPY was a daily WW short and also at the end of the day it gave me another short signal but I did not take it only to be followed by an intraday short signal that I did. I was stopped out pretty quick but made a little more than break even. The HOD was .94 and the signal was to short at .93 which I thought was interesting as it was during the last hour. + 56
UAUA was scalped and probably should not have been traded. It did have an intraday WW short signal but it was more about looking for a trade which I have to stop doing. + 11

  10. Traded poorly today

I broke a couple of rules today and paid for it. Firstly I tried to trade BIDU which in itself was not that bad via options but then I refused to get out with a small loss. As this was not a fade there was no reason not to get out but I hate to admit it I didn’t want to pay the spread of about 70 cents. This could have been solved my looking at it BEFORE I traded it. I could have said that I don’t want to trade it due to the risk of having to pay the spread. I really need to work on getting out when the signal says to get out. What I did instead is sell more calls at the offer and try to scalp my way back to freedom. This worked for only so long as it moved up over $25 per share at one point. I also received a short signal with it again and used puts (I bought them) to trade that. At first I did ok but I ended up taking a stop loss. To make matters worse I also sold the next strike level calls which of course turned into a bad trade as well. I am reading “trading in the zone” by Douglas and this is why. This signal was meant to avoid this exact type of thing from happening as it has a small stop loss but I keep figuring out new ways to make mistakes. Its back to small share size again until and if I am up for the month. Not that it was enough to get me out of the 450 calls but when the 460 short started to fail I did bail rather soon with them. I just should have bailed with it all. I also used a larger than I should have stop with the puts but at least I used the stop and it ended up saving me some losses that I would have had otherwise.
    BIDU 450 calls – 6413
    BIDU 460 calls – 297
    BIDU 460 puts – 791
SNE gap up + 15 that was stopped out
YGE + 112 trend line fade.
