  1. People are surely missing some action in this thread, but low risk and consistent winner is better. Good work, keep it up :)

Slow and steady wins the race :) Good luck Bob ;-)

  2. Today was better than normal this month.

Not all the trades worked out but I was able to get some size the better trades. This resulted in today being the best day so far this month. I also didnt get crazy with the size either and used very conservative entries.

My biggest trade today turned into a dud though. I closed it out at a small gain when it appeared that it was not going to go to my target. fearing that it would run up in the end of day I closed out. Turns out it did run up but that was not predictive powers by any means. I just didnt want to hang on into the weekend if it did. In some ways I was a bit to conservative when it topped out over 55 for the day and I should have put some size on it. I will wait until after this month to raise the risk profile if this one turns out ok.

NFLX delivered today. two different trades. first a gap up trade which netted the bulk of the gain and then another when it became overbought. I wanted to put greater size on it but I kept it in line and never needed to be concerned with leverage limits.

AMZN was a gap up trade that I stayed very small in. two 100 share lot trades but I did get more than the normal profit target on both trades so its than it appears.

  3. Hi TraderSU,

Yes the numbers sure are a lot smaller. They will stay that way at least until the end of the month.

Thanks and have a great weekend !!

  4. Job well done, Bob. First of all, I believe you made the right choice by laying low. In fact, many traders hunkered down in the last 3 months, myself included. But if you can pull off a stellar performance like you did this month even with the shrivelled axe, I have no doubt you'll soon be hitting them balls out of the park when the time comes. Just make sure you grind those axes really good. Best of luck to ya! :)

  9. Very good day today. Especially in light of the size I was trading.

    LULU + 549
CRI + 480 (thanks to Jess for calling this one out in chat)
    COG + 61

I did actually trade a few shares of APOL after it fell off the cliff in AH but made almost nothing as I did not want to get aggressive and so I placed stops near BE

  10. I expected today to be a lot slower than it turned out to be.

I traded both long and short again today and for the most part it went well.

I went long with GT and I could have let it go much further but kept close stops in case it fell off a cliff (more than it already did)
    GT + 507

I had to open gaps that I traded
    HRS was a great trade
    + 309

PNRA on the other hand was played way to conservative so while I did hit the top I didnt have very many shares (smaller than even desired with my low trading volume I am doing this month)
    PNRA + 107

NTRI gave me the every seemingly rare overbought signal and while I did ok with it I kept the size small as well.
    + 315

In the end it turned into a pretty good day of trading
