  2. As I write this I am trading RIMM in AH trading

Its been a while since I made a post and I am hoping that I will be able to continue with atleast something every day again.

RIMM fell off the cliff after earnings came out and I waited for the panice to ease and then I started buying but in very small size. I did pretty well and it added to what was already a good day and the best day of the week (every day this week has been profitable actually)
    RIMM + 299

I found an error in my programming with some changes in my code for my scanner so I believe I have missed out on some trades this week but it also meant that I was able to make some improvements and so I think I broke about even on that deal.

I don’t normally trade IPOs but found some value in trading AONE to the long side. I kept the size small and only took part in the very beginning while it was still ‘red hot’.
    AONE + 629
The rest where gap up trades and these have been my bread and butter lately.
    AM + 84
    RHT + 442
    SLM 2

    + 1458

I have no idea what my numbers are for the month as I have been busy with schoolwork, actual trading, the new baby(can you have an old baby?), and my other sons who would like to see their dad once in a while. I will figure it out after the month is done and I can run a report with IB. Otherwise its been a lot of getting up at 6:30 and going to bed at 12:30 – 1 am and hopefully that will ease up soon.

  3. NoDoji

    NoDoji

A trader needs 6 hours sleep a night, so going to bed at 12:30 a.m. is OK, but if you're not getting to sleep until 1 a.m., then you're shorting yourself.

    Hmmm...that shouldn't surprise me actually... :p

Nice job, and tell the little guy you can only eat those symbols if they're floating around in soup or cereal!

  6. Hey guys,

Mom and baby are doing well. I am actually starting to do well too (trading wise)

I will have my third down month in a row but the last two weeks have been pretty good. Not so much in terms of profitability, but in terms of trading my plan.

I actually started doing some of the things that I need to do. my normal signal which has really been my moneymaker hasn't been triggering lately. While it's true that I made the criteria more restrictive in the requirements of the trigger. It appears to me that the market has also changed at least for the last couple weeks.

    +470 for the day.

    ~ - 12K for the month.

just to recap why I've been MIA recently. My third son, Michael was born about 22 days ago, I am currently taking 16 credits at Penn State, and I'm still going in to my office every day to trade for full days. needless to say I have bitten off a lot

  7. Start of October and it turned into a pretty good day. Trading size is still small (for me and my account) but I want to string together a bunch of gains before I start really going at it again.

As i settle into some of the commitments that I have myself in I am finding that there may be a light at the end of the tunnel (hopefully not an oncoming train) and that I might begin once again to post daily.

    + 250 day week month
